#MichaelNicholsTakeover The concept of “WILD” is to have my photographs in conversation or in proximity to art from @philamuseum’s permanent collection. This was a Melissa Harris brainstorm that was embraced and executed by Peter Barberie, @philamuseum Curator of Photographs. We have our “special" gallery were this dance with several of my Yellowstone photographs and Richard Long’s “Limestone Circle” takes place as well as an invasion into the permanent galleries with examples like my iconic image of Jane Goodall being touched by a chimpanzee in partnership with the famous bust of Benjamin Franklin by Jean-Antoine Houdon … nothing is literal .. all with the thought of what is WILD and to how we have to examine this at a time of great risk humanity’s relationship to the natural world #michaelnicholswild @michaelnicknichols @natgeocreative @aperturefnd #awildlifebook
