Today we wish a #happybirthday to #DorothyNorman, a Philadelphia-born artist, writer, and activist. Norman, who was born in 1905, collected #photography at a time when few people did, and her gift to the @philamuseum of more than 1,500 photographs includes a core group of exceptional pictures by other women artists.
